Chad Jackson

Chad Jackson, MS, RRT, FCCP

Vice President of Market Growth

Originally trained as a respiratory therapist, Chad Jackson, MS, RRT, FCCP, has also been a business owner, inventor, trainer, and above all—an innovator. He has worked at CHEST for the last decade. In his current role as the leader of the Market Growth division, Jackson provides leadership and guidance to the development, direction, coordination, and management of all innovation activities at CHEST. This includes promoting innovation activities across the entire organization, including discovering, prototyping, incubating, and accelerating offerings that create opportunities for CHEST. 

These activities, experiences, and products may include developing international training programs, corporate innovations, novel medical products, as well as other business opportunities for CHEST. Jackson has served as the lead contact with several of CHEST’s most important industry partners, and he has been the main driver of some of the most interactive educational activities CHEST offers, including CHEST Games.

Market Growth Manager

Janet Amesse, MBA, has a background in accounting and finance, but has more recently focused her career on sales in health care. A veteran of pharmaceutical sales, Amesse excels at gathering data and creating new and innovative approaches to build relationships and increase performance.

Brian Fitzgerald

Prior to joining CHEST, Brian Fitzgerald previously worked to increase non-dues revenues at associations, including the American Pain Society and the National Association of Neonatal Nurses. He now helps to grow and diversify sources of industry-funded projects that align with CHEST’s strategic priorities. Some of these priorities include data analytics, physician, patient, and industry employee education, and training.

Ziyad Nazem

Advanced Analytics Product Manager

Ziyad Nazem has a background in systems analysis and health-care informatics. He brings a wide range of experience to CHEST, with prior experience in epidemiology and pharmaceuticals (brand management, product launches, and product development). Nazem is well versed in big data and data science and is the consummate data magician/ninja. 

As the Advanced Analytics Product Manager at CHEST, Nazem is more than just a business intelligence expert. Using his unique skill set, he creates products that transform the way the world answers questions. 

Dongchul Yoo

Dongchul Yoo, PhD

Data Engineer

Dongchul Yoo, PhD, is a mathematician and the key builder of CHEST’s data warehouse, which streamsfrom sources that include clinical trials, open payments, Census, health insurance, environmental air systems, and more. His knowledge of SQL andadvanced programming skills has assisted withthe creation of a robust infrastructure to both store and access CHEST’s data. Yoo oversees big data blending,advanced mathematical machine learning,and algorithms, which turn CHEST’s data into actionable and understandable content at scale.

Mark Rudzinski

Mark Rudzinski

Principal Researcher

Mark Rudzinski has more than 25 years of experience in health-care market research, strategic planning, marketing, and communications development. He has led consulting and research engagements with pioneer ACOs, health-care systems, academic medical centers, pharma/device companies, health advocacy organizations, senior living communities, health-care startups, and payors. These organizations have tapped him to provide market insights and counsel on a host of business issues, including brand strategy development, communications planning and evaluation, product and service line development, and customer experience enhancement.

Rudzinski has conducted extensive work in numerous disease states and health challenges, including COPD, asthma, ILD, lung cancer, autoimmune disorders, diabetes, breast cancer, HIV/AIDS, and arthritis, and understanding the barriers and motivators to adopting preventive health behaviors. Rudzinski has overseen qualitative and quantitative research with target audiences across the continuum, including patients, primary and specialty care physicians, advanced practice professionals, and C-suite executives.
